Langhe is the name of our hills, difficult to understand, sometimes disorientating. The same things happen to those who find themselves with the choice of wines like "Roero", "Nebbiolo d'Alba" or "Langhe Nebbiolo", knowing that the grape is always the nebbiolo.

The "Langhe" derives from a choice of vintage-time decided by the wine maker of this grape.

Among our vineyards, those that have been destined to the grape nebbiolo which will become "Langhe Nebbiolo" are posted towards the west.

There the grape will never make a great Barolo, but a great "Langhe". The bunches are small and plent; often, in August, they have to be thinned. In October, in the baskets, differences can be noticed from these grapes and those that arrive from the south, which have smaller pips and are more compact.

After the classic pressing, starts the fermentation, rigorously "By submerged hat" from 10 to 12 days. This Langhe Nebbiolo has 13°. The colour firstly ruby red, takes on a garnet tone during the course of the year.

The first 4 months, the wine is worked in chestnut wood, then is left for another 78 months in bottles, where noted flowered perfumes such a violet and iris are formed.

Excellent for every kind of meal, astonishing.
